The variegated white bleeding heart is one of my favorite vines. The variegated leaves are beautiful even when the vine is not in bloom. Three or four times a year the vine is covered in white bracts with red heart shaped flowers dropping from the white bracts The best quality of this vine is that it doesn't grow too fast. It is very easily controlled and trained to grow where you want it. It doesn't take over the garden like most vines. This vine will grow in shade or direct sun. I find that it performs best in very bright light that is protected from direct afternoon sun.
