The variegation is so close to complete on this cactus that there is very little chlorophyll for photosynthesis. I grow them in bright shade and water weekly. Allow the soil to dry completely before watering. They are very slow growers, but very very hardy. Also called dinosaur skeleton it's a cool variegated cactus.
